My Unforgotable Olympiad

       On June 4 2012, I went to Green Hills Resort in Cianjur with some friends. We went to there wasn’t to go on vacation but we had to attend some olympiad in there. Two months before, exactly on April 3, we succeeded in getting victory in the city level. So, we attended by mention Banjar in the province level.

       The people who attended that olymliad were Hana Azkia Rahmadhani, Oktavianus Marcel Harjono and Nudy Istifa Nugroho  in field of Mathematics. Yunisa Anugrahwati, Kiki Qurratul’Ayuni, and Zeihan Aziza in field of Biology. Ferry Yudi Irawan and Fachmi Baihaqi in field of Physics. The last one was me in field of Chemistry and 3 another people from the other school. Miss Desi Natalina who became a guide teacher for us and also driver who drove our car.

       The journey began from my school, SMAN 1 Banjar. Before we left our school and started our journey to Cianjur, we assembled in ceremony field in front of all the student. Our departure was accompanied by teacher’s pray and also Banjar Education Department’s pray. We used two school office cars to reach that place. Kiki, Hana, Yunisa, Ferry, Marcel, Fachmi and I were in the same car. We expresslied to go by used the same car because we had pleasant with the others. Beside that, we had sat on the same class when we were 10 grade.

       Upon our arrival in Cianjur, we checked in to get room soon. We got two rooms, exactly two villas. One for the men, and one more for the women. The villa consist of a guestroom, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. After we got our villas, we registered as participant of the olympiad. Then, we took a rest in the villa because we had to accompany the technical meeting in the night.

       In the night, when I was preparing my self to accompany the technical meeting, the earth suddenly got a rock. It was earthquake. I was panic and got outside as soon as possible. When the situation got composed, all of us went to auditorium to accompany the technical meeting. Many peolpe in there, because all of the olympiad’s participant and their teacher had to enjoy it. It was discuss about quantity of question, time of working on, technic of working on the question and many more.

       The day after that, we attended the olympiad. I attended the chemistry olympiad. I felt very nervous, especially when I saw all of my rivals. They were clever student and I knew that they came from famous school looked from their uniform. Back to chemistry olympiad, the question consist of 30 multiple choices and 5 essays. All of that were hardly questions, especially question about the reaction of organic mixture. Time of working on question was 2,5 hours.

       I did my work seriously and finished in exact time. After that, I waited for my friends who attended another olympiad. Then, we took some pictures for memento. After satisfied took pictures, we came back to the villa and prepared to come back to Banjar.

       It was my first olympiad in province level. It was memorable and unforgotable experience for me. I proud to become an olympiad’s participant. And I hope I can accompany it again.
